The Story of Mathematics (Video)

Thanks to the people I follow on Twitter, I found this awesome video about mathematics. If you are one of those students who constantly question the reasons for learning mathematics, then renting the documentary "The Story of Mathematics" (see previews below) from your favorite video store will be worth each penny! Enjoy!

after seeing the video of the story of mathematics i realizeed that math is all around us .. its the universal language that we are all able to share in common. If understood properly it can be done by anyone no matter where they are from. Also math is what helps us all do the everyday task we are involved in. Even in the animal kingdom math is a very important because it helps the animals calculate when would be the correct time to strike a prey.Math also helps us knowhow far awy from the sun we are and how much times passes between different lunar eclipses and etc.

Clicking over to veoh, there were all sorts of unsavory videos listed on the same page. I found this link at youtube that seems much cleaner, breaks up the documentary into 6 parts.
